Come join us to make music on the beautiful bronze gamelan degung from Indonesia played by Evergreen Club Contemporary Gamelan, Canada's first gamelan group (est. 1983).

For this special edition of the Gamelan Meetup, we are joined by renowned composer and performer, Iwan Gunawan. As a composer whose practice balances gamelan's tradition with contemporary innovation, Gunawan will share a depth of knowledge with participants.

No musical experience is required. Our instructors will guide you. Whether you're a newbie or a music professional who wants to explore the gamelan, you're welcome.
